Gold Medal Edoné Cuvée de María
Bacchus, is one of the most events in the world of wine in Spain. The unique international competition of wines in Spain that belongs to VINOFED, federation that integrates renowned competitions worldwide. After four days of tastings, more than 1500 participating wines and a hundred of tasters, have awarded Edoné Cuvée de María with a Gold Bacchus.
Edoné Cuvée de María is a Chardonnay 100%. Elaborating in a traditional method. Part of its base wine, 3% has aged in 225 litres French oak barrels. The second fermentation in bottle and subsequent ageing on the lees for 24 months. Straw golden color, with shiny gold highlights, with fine and numerous bubbles. Seductive aromas of exotic fruit. It stands out for its freshness. Botanical nuances of the Mediterranean. It has a delicious flavor and a good structure with length and liveliness. Tiny bubbles that seduce with their delicacy.
This award motivates us to make an effort. Great defenders of the potential of our area, we were pioneers in making sparklings wine by traditional method at more than 1.000 meters of altitude. 115 hectares of Ecological Vineyards located at 90 km from the Mediterranean Sea in a unique enclave.
